Im happy to say that The Emancipation Network has made the finals of the recent Changemakers competition - Ending Global Slavery.

This now become a get out the vote campain and any help you can give us at driving votes on any social network you belong to.

The vote should be for "A Business Solution to Fighting Slavery"

The link is here http://www.changemakers.net/en-u s/competition/freedom

Here is the script for a vote button:

<a href="http://www.changemakers.net/competition/freedom" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.changemakers.net/file s/HU_button_vert.gif" width="100" height="160" border="0"></a

Ill be creating some emails and text as well

Thanks in advance for your help. If we win all of the $5000 will be used in the Destiny profram to buy sewing machines and pay wages to the survivors in the new center we have opened.

I should add that one of our parnters Visayan Forum Foundation made it to the finals as well! We are also very big fans of Rugmak who made it to the finals.

It's a great interview - what I saw....I missed the last part and wasn't willing to fight the bandwidth to have to watch it all over to see it.. :--(

Did they mention the competition in the interview?

I agree, great timing. Only two days left in the vote and we have all our facebook savy volunteers out mobilizing. Popular vote type awards are not our strong point, so I dont like to get my hopes up.
