How are you defining kids? Youth Service America publishes a weekly newsletter with stories of extraordinary US Kids doing service (25 and younger, usually teenagers).

Also, I had never heard of Ashokitos, but I think an additional, more developed site would be http://www.genv.net/ (Youth Venture's site) this is a spin off of AShoka to support young social entrepreneurs.

oh - one more, my youngest Atlas Corps Fellow (she is 23) is an amazing nonprofit leader from Colombia volunteering for one year in Washington, DC.
