I would like to say thanks for reading my request.
The company is based on motorcycle riders helping motorcycle riders.
Our company is a for profit company that will be giving back x amount of profit through our sales channels and fund raisers.

The first part of the mission: helping families in need when a rider goes down. The second part of the mission: we will be supporting fundraisers for various chartable organizations.

The company is out of the idea stage and into the launching stage. We would like advise on the first part of the mission, how to set up the distribution channels so the money would be allocated properly... or is the a organization that is already set up that we can just link with ?

Thank you so much for you thoughts and ideas...

could you add some details- where are you located? what sorts of things are you delivering? I fully understand why your first priority is helping families if a rider has an accident. Details that would help me have a fuller picture would explain the communities your riders are in the middle of helping most; from there a qustion would be is there any development network that is already having a sustainble impact in the communities you most want to support or will you need to create one; of course this depends what sort of giving revenues you have and whether there are people both wanting and capable of building the giving distribution channels

It's great to see someone setting up a business and trying to develop a strategy of using business resources to help social sector organizations.

My advise is to pick a country/state/city and pick a cause, then get to know the organizations working in that region on that cause.

Each year use the web sites of the organizations to see what they are doing and if it looks like they are using resources available to them in an effective manner, write them a check based on what your charity budget is.

At the same time set up a page on your company web site to talk about the cause you are supporting, with links to the organizations you are supporting so that your customers and friends can join you in giving their support.

Keep doing this until the problem is solved or until you pass on your business to your own children.
