In London I work with the guy (a Bangladeshi Mostofa Z) deputised by Yunus to form the London Forum supportrs club. He's been over to Dhaka on a summer intern. Whilst the intercity Yunus forum intends to grow worldwide http://muhammadyunus.org - I am unsure whether it expects to be in African cities early on. If anyone has questions because eg they feel it could, please send them to me to relay. I will be in London getting first debrief since M's summer internship sept 6-14. Yunus other popular support comes from the pop group and community of friends http://www.thegreenchildren.org/ tgcf/community/mdmz - two in one here: a link to their community and to Mostofa Z
thegreenchildren definitely have been youtubing out of Kenya and I will try and update any other affrican voyage of theirs
I also have some maps on which african countries http://www.kiva.org is in which I will try and load as time permits
as some people may know, I love the original microcredit model as far as I understand it; but do not like attempts including pierre's to improve it! of course you are welcome to mention MF initiatives in this thread but please do try and clarify whether they aim to be in or out of the Yunus family's model
