Feedback bank
When you join ned.com, you start with a feedback bank of 10 points. Your feedback bank can be given away as either positive or negative feedback to any member, workspace, discussion or comment.
You will earn points in your feedback bank (your bank balance will increase) based on how you use ned.com. You basically get more "credit" in your bank balance the more you contribute.
If you simply "lurk," which means you just read, never posting a comment or starting a discussion, etc., your feedback bank balance will grow quite slowly.
If you are active in the discussions, and you contribute in a workspace, your bank balance will grow more quickly. In fact, even the act of giving positive feedback will help your bank balance grow.
If someone gives you a positive feedback point, your score will increase by one point and your bank will increase by 1/2 point.
Your feedback bank is capped at three times your feedback score. This means that until your feedback score reaches four or more, your feedback bank balance will not grow.
