Following your Vacancy announcement of 24th. December.2007 over the Radio, I would like to be considered for the above mentioned. I am a Ugandan aged 30years. I hold a Diploma in Cooperative and Business Administration from Uganda Cooperative College, Kigumba, Masindi and currently pursuing a Degree in Bachelor of Science Accounting of Ndejje University (Weekend Programme) to be completed in June 2008.

I have worked with West Acholi Cooperative Union (Gulu), Gulu Community Vocational School, Berilax Supplies and Services,(Kampala) and Currently Ndejje University as a Book-Keeper/Cahier, Accountant, Administration Manager and Accounts Assistant respectively. This has enabled me to gain extensive experience in accounts and finance work and to develop specific skills necessary for the job.

My work innovations have always been appreciated by my employers. One example among many is when I introduced the ‘Daily Cash Returns’ systems of reporting at Gulu Community Vocational School and Ndejje University. This enabled maximum transparency and monitoring of funds of the organization. To confirm this, a letter of Recommendation from one of the organisations can be availed anytime if need be.

I do clearly understand that this position is a home-based 40 hours/week position requiring daily online communication and reporting, and 15 field days per month, requiring both long and short distance travels, which I shall willingly and gratefully perform if given the opportunity.
