In response to your vacancy announcement of 24-Dec-07 over Radio, I hereby humbly forward my application to your organization to be considered for the above.

I’m a male aged 33 years and a Ugandan by nationality. I’m a diploma holder Ordinary Diploma Business Studies (ODBS/UDBS) from Uganda College of Commerce Kabale and a Partial ACCA Stage I Member.

Concerning working experience, I have worked for a period of nine (9) years as an Accountant in very large and reputable organizations.

I worked with Spectrum Enterprises Ltd. Kampala, Kampala Pharmaceutical Industries (1996) Ltd- Kampala, Uganda Fish Packers Ltd- Kampala and Mild Auditors and Accountants – Kampala respectively.

This has given me a widespread knowledge in the field of Accounts, Cost Accounting Management, Auditing and Statistics for special purposes of need.

My style of work has always been a blessing to my employers and me in particular. For example, strict credit sales policy based on credit limit per customer. This enabled me to control debt collection and increased sales receivable accounts profitability.

Bad debts which would have written off was directly collected via the above system and I got a salary increase of 50% added to my monthly salary.

In my opinion the position above based on an online communication method and reporting, I’m ready to work to the best of my knowledge and ability in order to meet your day to day target.
