Hi Kayemba, I don't know much about business in general. But I responded to your inquiry about Internet solutions here and this question seems to fit nicely with what I was trying to say.

Auto parts are complicated, there are just so many of them. In addition it's important to have diagrams for many parts because the parts themselves and relationships to other parts is complicated too. Computers are really good for organizing complicated information. One way that complicated information is put on computers in in what's called data bases.

Managing data bases is something I don't really know about, so I'm just thinking wildly. I imagine there are ruined vehicles all over the city. Some of them have useful parts, but is there a good way to connect people who own the wrecks with mechanics? Maybe there's a business in figuring out how to do that?

Hullo Kayemba, your discussions are quiet impressing, more especially the spare part bussiness. Thing though is you need to do some research on what type of vehicles are more commom in your country.

Hi people, there's a large demand for large scale agriculture in Uganda, the challenge though remains on the way of improving the level of production, which I think is a challenge in Africa at large.

Spare parts business can be one way of generating money to sustain you. I have little experience in it but for the little time i have spent in the business, i think it works well but it needs to be on large scale. So any body interested in discussion may join me and we generate ideas. Thank you

Robert, Do you have anyone who works for you or with you? You might find it enjoyable for yourself to teach someone else what you know about the business and it would help them to have a new way to earn a livelihood.

Hullo mr Kayemba to thats a good project becauses it targets to the population. So all my say: look at the status of your country, in case you can't get spares from within go overseas to purchase spare parts. If you lack funds, you may either need a loan or a grant. Let me pray for you that you get a grant.

Does anyone bother reading profiles? Mr. Kayemba lives in Kampala, Uganda and HAS a spare parts store. He wants to know how to make it do social good.

I would suggest that you look at this discussion.
