The mission of Life in Africa – USA is to enable and empower communities in Africa to organize themselves for the purpose of eradicating extreme poverty predominantly, but not limited to, areas affected by and recovering from war. This will be accomplished by providing resources, networks and funding for community driven projects dealing with income generation, education, environment and psycho-social healing. Funding will be provided through fundraising campaigns, both online and off, and through the sale of community generated products in both local and international markets for the benefit of the communities in Africa.

It is the belief of Life in Africa – USA that if organized, connected and provided resources, communities in Africa will be better able to lift themselves out of poverty and will then be able to assist other African communities in similar enterprises which will encourage development through grassroots community driven projects.
