From page 5/6 of Dr Yunus new book:

In order to have win-win-win globalization, we must have fair trade's traffic laws, signals, police. The rule of "the strongest takes all" must be replaced by rules that ensure that the poorest have a place on the highway. Otherwise the global free market falls under the contro of financial imperialism. ..I believe in free markets as sources of inspiration and freedom for all,not as architects of decadence for a small elite. My experience has shown me that the free market could address problems like global poverty and environmental degradation but not if it must cater solely and relentlessly to the financial goals of its richest shareholers.

PATTERN RULES I have been meaning to help start cataloguing these for the same time. The intent is to show how connected social microfinance system transformers are with others who believe we have urgent crises needing far more inclusive system solutions if sustainability is to be earned. Different pattern rules may appeal to different people but they are all part of the same map. http://patternrule.blogspot.com

It's also my understanding from 3 hours talk with Dr Yunus in Dhaka at the start of the year that his new book "Creating a world without poverty - social business, future of capitalism" is a strategy intended to connect the maps of microcredit with 5 other micro contexts of vital interest to the poorest ad their communities: microhealth microagriculture, microeducation, microgovernment, microconsumermarkets

My first set of Pattern Rules aim to view chaos in a system mapping way not some academic butterfly hunt. Yunus appears at Chaos Pattern Rule 8

The hunt for the missing audit had a false start in 2000 with the brilliant publication out of Brookings & Georgetown of Unseen Wealth. Unfortunately, the incoming adminstration from Texas literally trashed this report. As of 2008, the simplest Unseen Wealth Business model is the Social Business model proposed by Muhammad Yunus and seconded by leading internet future capitalists, most notably Bill Gates. http://news.google.com/news?hl=e n&q=%2Bcapitalism%20%2Byunus %20OR%20gates&um=1&ie=UT F-8&sa=N&tab=wn

Once you are aware that yunus has the treasure maps to compounding unseen wealth*health, its fun to go out and search who's pilooting what with him. Here's part of our research from bookclub1000 - we can always do with more details to post upgrameennews.jpg
