I will start my comment with an apology and a request that Jim remove the new group I created.  I had it in my mind that it only took 5 points to start a new group and when I went to check, it costs none.

I am not, I guess, the social butterfly that the rest of you are.  I don't get twitter. Facebook is similar to a small town local pub and gossip fest. There are games to be played and sound bites with no substance. 

What drew me passionately to onet was the passionate work. Thinking work, collaboration, project work...it's just not here.  There are a half a dozen people around with regularity. Asking for assistance is like pissing in the wind. There are the loyal few who are always there to help and beyond that?

Some of these board members got personal notes to return during the Ned Plot. We aren't even engaging the leaders.

Half a dozen people can't keep this place vibrant.

I want a place that I can call home and centered and have people coming in all the time to share ideas, problems, solutions.  People that I can help and people that can help me.  We had that at onet.  We do not have it here.  And it has nothing (in my mind) to do with points, or consolidating information on your profile (if you really want to do that here you can - look at Mark's profile). 

I don't know the solution.  Most of the people I have contacted from here to get them to come back didn't even respond.
