Loan description:

Apoto Filfda is an active member of Life in Africa. She originally came from Norther Uganda but was forced to leave her home due to Kony,s insurgency. She is a married woman aged 45 with seven children and they all live in the IDP camp in Kampala known as the Acholi Quarters.

She is working in stone quarry where earns some money to sustain her family but this is not enough with seven children to support. Filfda has a good plan to start a business buying and selling of groundnuts. They are a favorite of Acholis and are always in high demand. She plans to grind some and sell some that are whole to those who may need them. She expects a monthly profit of 50,000/= per month.

To do this business she is requesting loan in the amount of 250,000/=. Once given this loan she will be able to repay in 6 months.
