Joyce Mbowa is a Muganda by tribe and a craft maker. She is one of the active members of Life in Africa. She does many handcrafts like table cloths, wall hanging and many others. She is one of the kiva first borrowers who took a loan of 800.000/= to buy materials for the crafts. She is doing well and from the profits she made, there was no promlem with her repayment.

Joyce is now targeting the heads of common wealth meeting due 23 Novermber in Uganda where over 5000 delgates are expected to attend. She is a member of American club where most of African crafts are sold and has high expectation of excellent sales.

According to her calculations, this heads of government meeting might triple the normal sales and so she does not want to run out of stock during this money making period. Plus, any stock left over will be sold in the regular market.
