2006 Exponentials Economics Comes Back From the Future
1984: The world's leading interviewer of entrepreneurial revolutionaries mapped a future history on how to debate George Orwell's only mistake as being one net-gen too early. By 2024, we'd know whether the net-generation had compounded sustainability of humanity or not. It would all depend on whether every locality was integrated truly and fairly into globalisation
2006: Evidently the inconvenient truth is that the first 22 years of globalisation has been compounding lost sustainability. Sir Nick Stern does the exponential analysis on the greatest market failure ever- climate claiming 1% of national wealth now needs to be invested not to lose 20%; and the situation is exponentially getting worse. In other words, 2012 may be 5% to save 50%; and our original 1984 system spiralling approximation for lowest trust globalisation 2015 will be irreversible
Back from the Wilderness- Just as all our houses look very bleak indeed, economic truth returns after 22 years being shunned by the media . The truth of compound purpose is being brand led by Muhammad Yunus from Bangladesh backed by a whole school of economists inflienced by Gandhi and Einstein. They invite cities to map their 1000 most claborative people and hubs for sustainability so that they can meet them during economics greatest global vilage roadshow in earth. Before we get to the conflict-busting debates that every global market sectors now needs to stage n front of a stockmarket 2.0 for sustainability investors, how about understanding human being's expoential learning curves. I have a 10 year old daughter and the absolute disgrace of the American catholic schooling system when it comes to language like entrepreneurial truth is something up with which I will not put. Is there any lifelonmg learning context which has been so polluted by governed over education that you truly minded to be the chnage on something up with which you will not put?
specilaist jargon: map; molecular flows and triangular spin
This is emerging as a learning module which we hope to weave across cities through our collaboration cafe format, and in particular models of sustainability world 2007-2012 such as Muhammad Yunus (currently nunber 1 in world citizen surveys)
Whilst it will take some days to put this together, perhaps you could ask questions by email

Many people have heard of a sustainability crisis challenging our race's future ; typically these people know there's a system crisis; what we believe to be tragic is how few people realise that a systems crisis = a crisis of exponentials -whose compound impacts in to the future is not being governed by information anyone is auditing.

This course will rehearse examples and we look forward to finding out which work best
Would it be good news if people like you chose 10 economists to play this truth-testing game on whether their profession is capable of sustaining all these productive and demanding flows of human relations systems?

You will soon see that Eva Vertes is an exceptional young scientist. She kindly let us email interview her for our travel guide on learning. It is open sourced at http://valuetrue.com/home/galler y.cfm What she says is replicated by over 2000 testimonies to flow. Flow proposes an exponentials measure unheard of by formal educational establishments -this is primary in determining how productive, how much of a difference a person can make through life.

after looking at one more curve picture we need to add in one other pattern rule of learning blocks which can impede a child from building what otherwise might be a deep competence

There are foundation subjects that its best for 6 to 11 year olds to spend time on: whilst this is usually agree regarding maths and grammar, original truth research by Montessori and Gandhi found this also to be true of cross-cultural appreciation.

Moreover all three of these subjects cannot be truly understood by being elctires, a child best accomplishes them by finding her own through but in a peer to peer environment. The GEMS curricula and modalities of provision developed by Sunita Gandhi and with the help of tens of thousand of children a year shows that almost all children can flow to be competent at maths, and grammar and cross-cultural appreciation by the age of 11 if they are empowered to map their own ways through these curricula truth structures.

So the failure to understand exponentials and a child's will to map her own order through experience is putting children at huge disadvantage, and ever more so as productive use of networks multipies interfaces between peoples openness to explore rather than rush to box in the theoretically correct. Here's Sir Ken Robinson - his video is a real wake up call to any parent.

Ted.com is developing an excellent cluster of learning debates and we are trying to help flow them at http://up200.tv/_wsn/page14.html

Soon you are offered a choice - if you would like more on governing exponentials - which of these systems do you want to see through the whole truth future of next.

Sustainability of Entrepreneurial Triangle from Start-up to Scale Up

Sustainability of social networks

Sustainability of an organisational system

Sustainability of Global Market Sectors

Sustainability/empowerment of local community

We will see that all of these compound value multiplier flows around future exponentials governance. The way to guarantee destruction of each type is to box them in by quarterly numbers metrics alone

we catalogue hubs at http://hubsworld.tv as well as trying to map what varieties of this empowerment/netweaving http://peoplepower.jp species exist

we were also asked by Taddy Blecher to help explore meta-hubs http://cidaworld.tv

META-HUBS So far we understand the need to map at least 2 varieties: the global village conference producer - eg the skoll world championships http://oxbridge.tv for social entrepreneurs where many of the delegates (being almost as entrepreneurial as Mark) are opening their own hubs, and so want to cross-fertilise open source projects at elast withinn their primary mosaic - I need help cataloguing how many mosains now has (Bill Drayton http://www.ned.com/group/communi ty-general/news/9/ has mentioned at least 20 to me)

the new university that is primarily there to open source peer to peer curricula - whether its a university or an apprentice vocational college or an on-site farm its future goodwill can value multiply as a hi-trust gravity for curricula youth actually want to spend livetimes practising - as well as Taddy's own example in S Africa, huge breaking news from India (watch out for whether ted.com leverages this with reciprocal news in a few weeks )is that scientist and ex-predident of India Abdul Kalam http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus/403200708161020.htm has challenged all universities to change their curricula with youth or die- the campaign Lead India 2020 is the most explicit return of assets to youth that I have yet seen a 21st C nation dare to commit - you may also wish to note the strong flow between Kalam and the Gordon Brown end July speech at the UN - see BBC link at http://peoplepower.jp

Dear Chris

This is a thought provoking set ...

Now the challenge is to apply the lessons in a practical way, and scaling up and / or replication of the very few to something like a mass movement.

But I am aware of two things: (1) only a small proportion of people have the capacity or inherent ability to be successful entrepreneurs ... they need productive jobs; and, (2) scaling up without balance between sectors or activities or interventions does not achieve optimal results ... in other words for a community to progress optimally there needs to be a smorgesborg of opportunities on the table, not just micro-credit, or water, or health, or education ... but a mix of them all AND JOBS.

Thanks

Peter Burgess

absolutely peter, so in true microcredit empowerment of the community the smogersboard is the aim

the sustainability bank's investment in its own community is 3-fold:

***loaning those who actually can develop the community

***peer to peer training so business micro-entrepreneurs help each other in small groups

***the bank looking for the next business that can be brought into the community to up the whole community- as you may know when grameen started the most popular loan and business was buying a cow; today it is being the mobile kiosk lady who effectively is the 21st Century telegram office for a vilage previously without any such connectivity

in kenya 0.6% of the GDP is attributable to tyhe microentreprenjeurs who buy irrigation tools at http://kickstart.org mostly on microcredit; the latest crop is a plant that becomes the input into malaria pill manufacturing as per Jacq's video

When it comes to services understanding whether there is a 10-win franchise model is crucial; its not possible to replicate the model unless that level of details is mapped; perhaps the reason why Grameen microcredit is one of the few worldwide replicable model's is that its 10 win franchise model is there for all to see

*K1 Microcredit as led by Grameen offers the greatest service work there is for those who love to plant seeds so that communities develop sustainably connecting 100 million families taken out of poverty since 1999

*V1 Sustaining the development of a community out of poverty is the greatest vocation and empowering professional wish

*K2 Internal branches of Grameen Bank are guided by 5 star ratings for the community's local team to aspire to; external supporters of Grameen can action interface in one of 16 ways (you don't have to be a banker to participate with the 2000 who network annually at microcreditsummit but you do need to bring one of 16 skill sets to the interaction)

*V2  Empower us women as the greatest net of undiscovered micro entrepreneurs

*K3 Probably the world's simplest trust-flow credit model - this can only be replicated by intrapreneurial leadership teams who empower  instead of boss from the top down. 10 years ago: Who would have thought that the banking sector would be nurtured to demonstrate with the most intrapreneurial franchise on the planet?

*V3 Banking for the poor as the most value multiplying sustainability investment sector

*K4 Grameen offers to partner almost any global sector on its own hi-trust value multiplication terms; bring your deepest competence to Bangladesh, let us implement it strategically, you get goodwill's multiplying gains, we will take the risk that sustaining the deepest purpose your sector can offer in Bangladesh will not make a lost. Where global partners don't want to play, Grameen now cherry picks emerging sectors - eg mobiles by investing in the sector at the right time to lead it, return the surplus to the poor. As the country's favourite brand, there are very few new service sectors that would want to compete head for head with Grameen.

*V4 eg Grameen Danone - fast food health foods supplementing dietary gaps of Bangladeshi's- note how K4*V4 proofs the concept that the social business entrepreneurial stockmarket game is ready for go.

*K5 Supporters clubs are set to emerge in every city; not only does Grameen have one of the top global village summit network meetings of the year; but it has its own pop group and videos for replaying in 100 languages. As a global academy partner of the supreme grassroots up social entrepreneur association ashoka, local societies can be guided to the potential  synergy of the 2 most empowering micro entrepreneurial networks in existence: microcredit grameen dialogues and ashoka mosaics

*V5 Hi-trust Collaboration and transparent empowerment from grassroots women up can put poverty in a museum by the millennial goal deadlines

Exponentials & 10-win molecule pictures http://grameen.tv

1 Forward exponentials up and down are the same system dynamic that people refer to as vicious or virtuous spirals. Both refer to compounding non-linear consequences. The end-game of a downward exponential (vicious spiral) is death/implosion of the system. The upward exponential represents compound growth communing around one and all.

2 The 10-win molecule can be studied deeper and deeper within a system or at higher and higher levels eg from corporation or global market sector or national economy or globe. My father’s http://macrae.tv/ exponential models were often at a nation level. Back in 1984 he predicted the USSR was so full of conflicts it was almost pound to implode before 1989. He also predicted that whereas nations compounded up or down separately, within one networking generation the fate of all nations would be increasingly flowing into each other. The only sustainable way forward for globalisation is to integrate ever community truly and fairly. The same micro-inter-macro dynamics are demanded by nature, by all true maps of entrepreneurship and innovation, Einstein’s theory of relativity, by the way that all truly usable maps are integrated. The perfect way to destruct the world is to have big systems externalising risks onto places that are already poorest or most disconnected.

3 The United challenge that the generation 1984-2024 faces is Big Brother scenario. Will top-down drown us all, or will we transform to an empowerment up economics – one that ultimately network exchanges openly between schumacher 2 million villages/community. Writing 1984, this was the economics timeline for 2005-2010: we now know that macroeconomic policies which were he main stuff of democratic politics from the 1930s-1990s were disgraceful chicanery ... transparency of models demanded that world-linking macroeconomic decsion-making were no longer political. In parallel, the best of broadcast and interactive media enabled maps of 30000 relicable social projects http://www.normanmacrae.com/netf uture.html#Anchor-Changin-27687

3a Fortunately Yunus & Stern (Mr 1% versus 20% exponentials) & Clinton & Drayton Social Entrepreneurs are united around this message as of fall 007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W CGMCvrI8sw

4 Behind the curve- unfortunately we are not only behind the economics curve, we are behing the curve of ending dictatorships something that the USA/USSR could have teamed up to do if we had collaborated sensitively with the old USSR’s meldown. Photosynthesis energy was already expecetd to be dominant by large consensus of 1980s scientists. Basically we haven’t been innovating head of conflict since the 1980s when the world became networked within under a decade around spreadsheets. We have the wrong maths and the wrong boxed-in professions ruling us; we have untruth media and unadaptive education. We havent learnt anything from these being the 3 meat-system transformations for truth that Gandhi mapped 100 years ago

5 So we have our work cut out. Any systems theory that does not map the world’s largest organisational systems in terms of what expeontial up or down are btehy componding; do they audit “early detection, early response’ both of conflicts and bursts in flows (espceially at boundaries) isnt sustainable enough. If community builders are not prepared to mad zero tolerance of risk in everything they facilitae, we’d better sack them. It not as if this theory wasnt there in the early 1980s. Its exactly the logics of Harrison Owen’s Open Space which as you may know was develped for the 3rd and subsequent annual world meetings of system transformation professionals.

6 When in oct 2005, I convened a 40 person meeting at the hub with the invitation: come only if you have at least one chnage agenda you are not prepared to see continuing to spiral for another 7 years. I meant it then. And I mean it now. London happens to be the easiest city to turn round broadcast media and vicious professions.

7 Now what more do we –and community empowerment agents http://peoplepower.jp need to map about exponentials. http://www.ned.com/group/network weavers/news/7/
