Beyond that, there are a few fancy tricks you might want to learn as you get more familiar with this workspace. Be sure to refer to the /help/Punctuation Help document to learn more if you get stuck.
Now, it's time to get back to work!
SKaRDIA stands for Southern Kaduna Rural Development in Action and is the Base project that we are working on in Kaduna State.
Ostensibly, SKaRDIA is a skills acquisition centre for adult rural dwellers, where they can learn skills which can allow them to earn a living. These skills are as varied as skills can be, but to give an example, they might be how to run a fishery, how to use irrigation, how to raise pigs effectively. Other types would be how to make shoes, how to make cocoa beverage, how to make soap etc.
In addition to this, support services are gathered around to give access to new technologies, alternative power, business support, access to loan finance etc.
NGOs are also encouraged to use the centre for their own capacity building, as the intention is to run training courses of this ilk - fundraising skills, financial management, Board accountability etc.
