I'm so bad with thinking of names. I understand that you want a CBO that general enough to be flexible. But the name you're thinking of doesn't seem to tell the story of your group. For example Creating Educational Books for Uganda could be CEBU. It's not the best name but tells something immediately about your plans. I think a good name for your organization will do that.

A friend started a CBO. At the last minute they discovered that the name they wanted to use had been used by another organization--that organization didn't seem to still be functioning. They needed a good name quick. I told my friend a story by and author, Robert Fulgham. And I proposed that they call the group Busoga Shining Light Association with the motto "shining in dark places." The name has been a sore spot. LOL partly because the group didn't really choose it. The problem is once an organization has name there are disadvantages to changing it. The name isn't too important, but is important.

My suggestion is to choose a name that tells some story about the group.
