STATEMENT OF INTENT

This is not a discussion group. I have lifted the concept from The Other Place and would ask all members to treat this group as a community resource.

Please treat it as the < Ned > Wanted & Offered Ads section.

This place is intended to serve as a communal resource for Wants and Offers - a place to advertise requests for help, advice, support or stuff and a place to advertise more of the same that you can provide.

The group is intended to provide a one-stop entry point for anyone looking to build networks of contacts, solicit an introduction or find someone who might know someone who can help you .... or to simply post your Wants and Offers

SIMPLE CONDITIONS OF USE

Do not post your Ad as a comment on this Home Page.

Please treat every advert or request that you post as a new topic.

This will enable people to respond specifically to your advert and discuss your needs or your offer. It will also make sure that responses to your entry stay on topic and won't get mixed up with replies to someone else's advert.

Please explain what you're looking for as succinctly as you can in the subject line. This will be the headline for your advert.

Enter any details in the "add a comment" area.

Please edit your subject header with the words (done) when your advert has been satisfactorily answers. This will save time for busy readers.

Don't forget to include any deadlines in your advert if they're relevant.

CHECKING THE WANTED ADS

We ask everyone to join the group so that you always remember to check the Wanted Ads - someone may be advertising for your help or advice.

Also put the group on your Watch List so you're absolutely 1000% certain to check the Ads.

I've already suggested that Wanted Ads could become an automatic fixture at the top of everyone's Watch List but that's a matter for management and their response may well depend on how this space is (or is not) used.

If you own a group - why not link your group to this group so that everyone starts to notice the Wanted Ads and uses them as a resource for making things happen.
