I've drafted new text for the workspace for the WANTED ADS, OFFERED ADS - Help, Advice, Networking section of Ned.com, to support the discussion area.

The WANTED ADS, OFFERED ADS discussion area has been designated as a place to advertise requests for people to help, requests for people to participate in something, requests for people to offer support, etc., and a place to advertise more of the same that YOU can provide to others. So, to complement the discussion area, I've proposed the workspace as a place to list:

• links to online sites that post volunteering opportunities
• links to online sites that promote volunteering
• links to online resources relating to involving volunteers effectively
• offline resources relating to volunteering or involving volunteers effectively
• links to online sites that post jobs in aid/humanitarian/development-related work
• offline resources relating to working in aid/humanitarian/development
• links to advocacy-related online resources that provide good networking opportunities
• details about organizations and conferences that provide good opportunities for networking around aid/humanitarian/development work, volunteering, advocacy, etc.

Ultimately, it's an effort to lead from online activities to online action, and to link new ideas to exisiting organizations and activities.
