&lt;p&gt;Well, &amp;quot;models of excellence&amp;quot; may be overstating my personal efforts so far.  Currently I'd fit into either the &amp;quot;model of mediocrity&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;hour of rambling&amp;quot; but I do think the talks have reached some students.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The presentation is about 15 minutes microfinance/poverty chat, 15 minutes the video, and 15-30 minutes Q/A.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here's my &lt;a class="wikipage reference" href="http://www.ned.com/group/community-general/ws/microfinance/" title=""&gt;digital worksheet&lt;/a&gt; I actually use as a syllabus-type thing to give the presentation from.  And the 3 orgs on that workspace, Kiva, Microplace and MyC4 give loan opportunities much like you asked about...with Kiva being the best at this stage (imo).&lt;/p&gt;
