I am a writer and photographer with a vast interest in humanity (which covers just about everything). I publish a website, Foreign Interest (currently in re-design). I am also the Portland Coordinator for Amnesty International, a member of the Portland Area Global AIDS Coalition, the World Affairs Council of Oregon, the Interfaith Committee on Homelessness for Washington County and the Center for Intercultural Organizing. These are things I do outside of my day job and part-time job. Why? Because each day there are incredible people who lift humanity into the future with hope, dignity, compassion and amazing talents in a world that tears at the very core of humanity. I don't want to miss one chance with those who make a difference. Someday, I'll catch up on sleep, but for now I relish every moment I have here on earth.
