I'm a learner, organizer, coordinator and adult educator. In my work life, I've been a store owner, regional coordinator for a national community economic development network, a community development researcher, community and learning event organizer and curriculum developer, trainer and facilitator of community based collaborative leadership programs. I'm now the program manager for an nonprofit organization that provides training and resources to build leadership and management capicity of the BC non profit sector.

In my home community, I've been active as a volunteer in support of local, sustainable and safe food, strong local economy and leadership and life skills through music education.

In 2007 I completed my UVic Masters in Education in Leadership Studies- Community Leadership and Adult Education for Social, Cultural, and Environmental Change. My thesis project research was on Learning in Social Movements, exploring activist's views on thier education and learning within change efforts.

My passion is ongoing learning and facilating learning for social change.
