Until recently we've been mainly seen as a provider of traceability around cotton in its many forms, but that is only a small part of what we can do.
On 15th July 2008 Wal-Mart launched a range of jewellery (jewelry for the US readers!) that is traceable to mine. The results of this can be seen at http://loveearthinfo.com - the traceability being provided by Historic Futures Ltd.
For me the best thing about this, is that it shows that any product can be made traceable. By making products traceable, everyone in the supply chain benefits. It makes it no longer possible to hide the bad things that could be going on.
