We're really doing it! Tickets to Thailand for Norbert and I are in hand!
A couple of people have asked for our itinerary - here it is:

Linda, we are very excited to spend some time with you and your students, to reside at an Asoke community for 2 weeks and to explore a bit more of Thailand while we are there.
Gayle, any chance of a hop up to Thailand from down under while we are there? (AND/or shall we drag you to Salt Spring Island in May??)
John, will you be anywhere in the neighborhood?

I am starting to get excited...maybe you will be here when I present my research proposal! Maybe you can go to visit the site on Mae Usu. We will see.
John and Gayle would be good here! A Ned Thailand f2f would be awesome.

Yes, no, yes, no ..... I WANT to so badly. I'll go over to the Salt Spring get together thread and ask questions there because I can't do both and it depends on what everyone else is doing or if there is any flexibility.
But I'm VERY excited for you and Norbert.
"Boarding pass" - constitutes 2 of my favourite words ... so "airline tickets" is close enough :)
