About

"Swing is a term used by jazz musicians to describe those transcendent moments of musical alignment when rhythym, harmony and melody all fall into a sweet convergence, when each member of the band anticipates what every other member is doing and gives him the help he needs to get it done; when every note you need to play matches up precisely with your ability to play it; when the music no longer requires any thought or effort, but simply streams out of your fingers and heart and through the valves of the horn or the strings of the bass or the keys of the keyboard as a natural expression of who you are.

...a life that swings is the only kind of life worth living." -Bill Strickland
